We're excited to announce our first ever SALSA NIGHT fundraiser. This year we will be awarding five scholarships to deserving students in our New Futures, Education Center and GED programs for post-secondary education expenses. This event will help us cover the cost of those scholarships and the programs that support these students on their way to success.
The intention of this Salsa Night is to honor the amazing accomplishments, hopes, dreams and future aspirations of our students. At the same time, we invite our guests to have some fun with a bit of dancing culture and SALSA lessons from some of our own amazing staff!
With your admission to the event, you will receive a great array of tasty Latin appetizers from Club Sur, one drink ticket from the bar, Salsa lessons from some of our talented SWYFS staff, extra dancing at Club Sur and a chance to GET INSPIRED! by hearing stories from our students about the futures they have in store because of the support you are providing through your funding of SWYFS.
Doors open at 7PM, to be followed by cocktail hour and appetizers and lessons at 8PM. There will be an extra opportunity to support our students during the night and plenty of dancing time - so bring your comfortable shoes and your passion for the future of our youth.
